Getting Terrell Owens will bring the Cincinnati Bengals to new heights. After getting beyond embarrassed by the Jets in the playoffs, the Bengals had to make some moves. For whatever reason, Owens was getting dismissed by most of the league. Yes, he was a problem on the 49ers and Eagles. He started to settle down on the Cowboys, and got unfairly released because Romo and Witten clearly run that offense. And he did fine on the Bills, but had arguably the worst quarterback in the league throwing to him. During that time, he did not vocally complain like he would have in the past.
Everyone dismissed Randy Moss when he was on the Raiders, but then Moss had an amazing season once he left that bad team. Well, the same can happen with Owens. He may not be the Owens of the past, but getting 1,000 yards is not out of the realm of possibility. Hopefully there are enough balls to go around for him and Chad Ocho Cinco. This was a good signing that other teams may end up regretting, especially since it came at a cheap price.
